The "Bonpland Guyana" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Capulet & Montague Brands GmbH. It was distilled in 1999 from Molasses and then aged for 19 years 6mo. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This is a limited release and there are only 255 bottles. 6 community members rated this rum with an average of 6.7/10. The rum smells like Honey, Young wood and Dried apricot, and on the palate there is Pencil shavings, Woody and Metallic.

Bonpland Serie Guyana 19 Jahre. Der letzte der Serie und einer der schlechtesten. Ist mir persönlich nämlich zu süss. Man spürt deutlich Honig in Nase und Gaumen. Ausserdem kommt dann noch junges Holz dazu. Nicht so gut.

PM markers are there. However, the bottling is overall to weak and watered down. On the nose as well as on the palate.
Interessante Nase, die Port Mourant Noten sind da aber extrem dünn und flüchtig. Finish ist quasi nicht vorhanden und fällt am Gaumen recht schnell ab. Schade nach der halbwegs interessanten Nase… aber doch enttäuschend
