I finally got the last and now have the complete set from 2016 - 2020. This is a very intense rum with tannins, smoke and oak well balanced with dried fruit. A masterpiece created by Asbel Morales, Master of Cuban rum, all casks have been hand selected and blended. Because it's limited to 2500 bottles, the price may seem high, but believe me when I say that this is a masterpiece well worth a very good habanero cigar. The price tag matches the rarity and quality.
Overall a fantastic rum, especially when taking the low ABV into account, with depth and complexity that’s intense and rich. The only thing that makes me stop my rating at this level is that it’s a little thin initially in mouth. Got a sample of it as a gift from RhumAttitude when ordering samples for my Advent Calendar. The fifth edition Havana Club Tributo is as all Cuban rums molasses based. This one by Rum Master Asbel Morales is a blend of the earlier Tribute releases together with other rum reserved for special occasions, some older than 20 years.
