TBRC Signature Blend #1

 Bought purely as a blender test object to broaden my horizons. Definitely a great blend outside my range. When pure, both base materials come into their own and have a harmonious effect. Unfortunately, just a little too thin. In a daiquiri it also cuts a very good figure for me, but even there it lacks a little oomph, which is due to the low ABV. For me, however, it's a great daiquiri mixer for afternoons on the terrace, as you don't really shoot yourself out with it. The easy sipper daiquiri, so to speak. And for less than 30€ it's also very reasonably priced

 Very exciting blend and even not so bad in May Tai. For once something more unusual.

 Looking at this bottling as a neat sipper, I‘m not overly impressed. Grasey and verbale notes are dominating with only a hint of Jamaican fruity funk. Not bad but nothing I would gravitate to. Works very well in a Daiquiri, however. Vegetal notes work very well in combination with lime and some sugar.

 The nose has lots of estery notes. A little like glue, but in a good way. There's also strong grassy, vegetal notes. The palate keeps the ester from the nose. Lots of grape and melon with a hint of olive. The finish is quite short and light. The olive notes stay for the longest. It's rather delicate. It's inoffensive, unchallenging and reasonably priced. It makes a lovely daiquiri too.

 24.09.2022 Going through samples at home. Notes Very light in colour. Nose Fresh, faint wood, light ester, fruity, vegetal, banana, light spice. Palate Fresh, light glue, fruits, pineapple, light orange, medium dry, light vegetal, light ester. Finish Medium long, faint wood, fruits, light citrus, medium dry, light pineapple, light vegetal.

 Easy but great sipper.

 Kein schlechter Blend mit etwas floralen Noten, auch ganz leichter Jamaika-Funk.

 very accessible and tasty. comes across more as low ester Jamaican than agricole, with a pleasant natural sweetness. Would rather buy WN overproof though.

 Neat tastes really similar to rumbar silver to me. Very good in a daiquiri, rounder and fruity. Interesting without being to much grassy, a nice initation to a blend of molasses & cane juice based rums

 Makes a tasty easy daiquiri but also easily enjoyed neat. As the bottle says it’s bright and grassy

 Fresh grape brandy on the nose! Light fruit on the palate / very good

 Beim ersten Riechen rieche ich einen sehr weinigen Geruch, der vom Agricole herrührt, mit leichten, frischen, grasigen Noten, grünen Früchten wie Äpfeln und Trauben und einem leichten Hauch von Eiche aufgrund des drei Jahre alten Jamaikaners, der die strohgelbe Farbe ausmacht, gefolgt von einer schönen, angenehmen, süßen Melasse. Wenn man mit dem Geschmack fortfährt, bekommt man zuerst einen schönen Agricole-Geschmack, grünen Apfel, eine sehr kleine Menge an Gewürzen und auch ein schönes süßes Mundgefühl von der Melasse, es ist derzeit mein liebster weißer Rum mit sowohl Melasse als auch Agricole, definitiv ein zweiter Kauf. Ich liebe es, wie leicht er ist, aber er hat auch eine schöne subtile Schichtung, da die Rumsorten aus weißem Agricole, weißem ungealtertem und gealtertem Rum bestehen, was ihn zu einem soliden, aber delikaten weißen Rum macht. Eine kräftige 7.8/10
