The "Single Cask Rum" was produced in Trinidad at the T.D.L distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Duncan Taylor. It was distilled in 1991 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 20 years. The rum has an ABV of 54,8%. This is a limited release and there are only 298 bottles. 12 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.0/10. The rum smells like Tropical fruit, Allspice and Earthy, and on the palate there is Woody, Dried fruit and Allspice.

13.04.2013 Whiskymessen Ich treffe mich mit einigen Freunden, die ebenfalls Flaschen zum Probieren mitbringen. Noten Mitteldunkel in der Farbe. Geruch Holz, schwacher Rauch, fruchtig, Ananas, Gewürze. Gaumen Warm, Holz, leicht geröstet, Trockenfrüchte, Ananas, Zimt, leichte Schokolade, leichter Gummi. Abgang Lang und warm, Holz, Früchte, leichte Schokolade.
Profil vůně spíš zapadá do Foursquare stylu. Kokos, koření, skořice, dřevo, sušené ovoce. Chuť kokos, třísloviny, sušené ovoce. V závěru hraje prim karamel s kokosem a skořicí. Velké množství koření a tříslovin v chuti hodně sráží celkový dojem.
Příjemný, lehký rum. Sušené ovoce, dřevo, koření, prostě pohoda.
It started quite promising with little dirty notes but with aeration it all dissapeared and the rum became "ordinary" with quite young wood, light caramel, tropical fruits, yellow fruits, mainly ripe juicy pineapple, even hints of red apple. . The palate is little alcoholic, tropical fruits, wood, spices, not much else. I expected a lot from 20y old rum, but this is very dissapoting. No complexity whatsoever, it is kind of flat, shallow and unspecific. Waste of 20 something years.
