The Duchess Foursquare Barbados
The "Barbados" was produced in Barbados at the Foursquare distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Duchess. It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses with a Pot and Column Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum has an ABV of 59%. This is a limited release and there are only 294 bottles. 16 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.1/10. The rum smells like Toffee, Vanilla and Orange peel, and on the palate there is Sweet, Spicy and Honey.

10.08.2019 Nice get together with friends at my place. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Sweet, light roasted wood, light glue, marzipan, fruity, floral, pineapple. Palate Round, pineapple, light caramel, wood, naturally sweet, nytts, spice, light caramel. Finish Long, sweet, light wood, light nutts, fruits, light caramel.
Wieder sehr schöne Füllung von der Herzogin. Im Aroma süßes Holz, Karamell und Marzipan. Im Geschmack Holz, Gewürze und vielleicht ein wenig Frucht. Insgesamt ist dies ein schöner komplexer Rum mit perfekt integriertem Alkohol. Das Ganze endet mit einem mittellangen Abgang. Sehr angenehm.
Vůní typický Foursquare. Sušené ovoce, sud po bourbonu, koření, skořice. Chuťově je zase zřejmý typický FS profil. První doušek celkem síla, pak už pohoda. V závěru slušný ranec koření. Za mě rozhodně slušný kousek.
At first I have to admit that I really like Barbados and Foursquere… The nose - sweet like marzipan or coconut or marmalade…with some tones of woods.. The color- it’s like honey- dark orange and dark yellow. The taste - round and really nice balanced - that’s the reason I really like Barbados…but on the other hand it’s sometimes too simple…but today..just sweet caramel, wood and vanilla and spice..that’s enough..take your glass and cheers
