Zu Barbancourt
"25.02.2017 A nice afternoon in the basement with rum and some delicious food. Notes Light in colour. Nose Light, faint roasted wood, pineapple, ginger, herbs. Palate Light, wood, faibt smoke, herbs, light nutts, light marzipan. Finish Medium long, wood, dried fruit, herbs, marzipan."
"I had expected more from this rum. Caribbean aging?! Then the barrel has not had much influence here. On the whole too thin, too bad.... I can not do anything with this rum 😳."
"Not sure if it’s the relatively lower ABV but this gives me very little on the nose or palate. Just quite generic. It’s nice enough but that’s it. Nothing like the Clairins I’ve tried. Wouldn’t buy a bottle."
