It was distilled in 1977 from Molasses and then aged for 35 years. The rum has an ABV of 52,9%. 03.03.2018 A wonderful day with my friend from Singapore at the whisky.dk event in my hometown. Notes: Pretty nice rum my friend brought for us to taste. Despite the relative ABV the profile is light and fruity with nice balance. Finish is medium long and lightly dry.
Very mild and calm Jamaica
Das Aroma ist schön reif mit tropischen Früchten, Vanille, Holzigkeit und ein wenig Ester. Am Gaumen zunächst recht holzig, viele Tannine, dann tropische Früchte, Ester, Chemie, Zitrusfrüchte. Im Abgang mineralisch, holzig, Kokosnuss, Gewürze, Grapefruit. Wenn ich raten müsste, könnte es Clarendon sein, aber Gott weiß es.
