"Whiskey finishes hardly ever make real sense in rum in my eyes - unfortunately, I can't shake that feeling here either. While the smokiness can certainly be said to have a complementary effect, for me as a lover of the classic Guyana profile with heavy sweetness, dark fruits and dense aromatics, these flavors are simply not needed. In the end, however, everyone may decide for themselves, it does not really pick me up."
"19. 01.2019 A nice evening with colleagues from all over Denmark. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: fresh, wood, light caramel, roasted, earthy, dried fruit. Palate: oily, wood, roasted, licorice, light smoke, chocolate, dried fruit. Finish: medium to long, wood, smoke, chocolate, raisin."
