    Carta Fuego Superior Spiced Rum, der in Puerto Rico von Bacardi hergestellt wird, zeichnet sich durch ein kräftiges Gewürzprofil mit Vanille- und Zimtaromen und Aromen von Karamell und Zucker aus. Er wird aus Melasse in einer Säulenbrennerei destilliert und 1 Jahr lang gereift und hat einen moderaten Alkoholgehalt von 40%. Das Feedback der Verbraucher beschreibt eine komplexe Mischung aus Vanilleeis, Kokosnuss, Karamell und Ingwernoten mit einem süßen, würzigen Geschmack aus Honig und kandierten Elementen. Während er für seine Geschmeidigkeit und Trinkbarkeit gelobt wird, empfinden manche den Nachgeschmack als leicht herb und alkoholisch. Ideal als Mixer oder auf Eis.

    "Kein besonders guter Bacardi. Hat für mich eine ziemlich neutrale Nase, überwiegend alkoholisch. Nach einiger Zeit wird diese dann süsser, Zimt, Vanille, Honig aber auch Ingwer. Am Gaumen dann Richtung spiced, aber auch noch sehr süss."

    "6:On the nose, there is vanilla ice cream, coconut and caramel notes. Beneath this we get a spicy ginger, some cinnamon and a hint of white pepper, raisin bread dough, chocolate cherry bark, spicy banana bread and cheesecake. 6:On the palate there is a waxy caramel candy, vanilla, a bit bitter, some ginger, coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, perhaps a bit peppery, sweeteners are felt, this rum is mild, rather smooth, with subtle notes of smokiness. 5,5:The finish is quite short, sweet, watery, spicy."

    "Difficult to classify this rum anywhere, but I know this profile from other spiced rums. Ginger seems to be popular at the moment, it can be found in both the nose and the finish. There is also sweet honey and a lot of creamy toffee in the mouth, possibly with strawberry. The finish is very short."
