The "Heavy Trinidad Rum (TWE) HTR" was produced in Trinidad at the Caroni distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Velier. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 17 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 70,4% and the mark is HTR. This is a limited release and there are only 238 bottles. 16 community members rated this rum with an average of 9.0/10. The rum smells like Leather, Dark chocolate and Caramelized, and on the palate there is Tar, Rubber and Nail polish.

"05.01.2019 A very nice tasting event where I met new local rum nerds. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: wood, roasted, orange, earthy, light rubber and tar, caramel. Palate: oily, wood, roasted, cherry, tar, rubber, chocolate, light mint. Finish: very long, warm, wood, roasted, orange, light rubber and tar, citrus."
