The "R5.2" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was distilled in 2002 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum has an ABV of 81%. This is a limited release and there are only 507 bottles. 5 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.8/10. The rum smells like Strong, Alcoholic and Floral, and on the palate there is Ester, Solvents and Strong.

Mild and tasty but soooo strong
Liquid meat. Would love to taste this after a BBQ. So much Umami. I'm a Long Pond fan and blind I would not link this to Long Pond. This isn't for everybody. Be aware! 😆
