    "A great harmony of (green) fruit and woody spice on the nose. After standing for an hour, a wonderful complexity develops that you could sniff forever. Elegant, spicy and (despite the reduction) not too thin on the palate. Very dry. There are also a few floral notes. Unfortunately, the finish is relatively unspectacular and cannot quite maintain the high level of the nose. A piece of liquid history! However, the finish is too thin for a top rating and I feel it lacks that certain something."

    "Dieser Rum ist genau richtig und ich mag die geröstete Eiche von der Nase bis zum Ende. Wunderbar fruchtig mit Gewürzen. 15-20 Minuten Ruhezeit tun ihm gut. Eine große Überraschung, die Gelegenheit zu haben, einen so alten Rum zu probieren."
