Impressive Guyana profile with impressively deep plum fruit and leather en masse. The alcohol is very present, unfortunately a bit too present; apart from that, absolute top class.

REV in brute - the fruitiness recedes somewhat into the background, but the powerful presence comes to the fore a little more strongly. The alcohol is well integrated, the profile is great fun - excellent.

Wow, this is the hammer. Despite its age this is a complex rum and it needs water to release all the flavours as well as remove the sting from the ABV. The nose is molasses, plum and wood from the start and then leather, caramel and herbal notes. Without water the ABV will clean your nose. The palate oily, very complex and balanced with molasses, smoky wood and fruits trailed by spices and light medicinal and herbal notes. Without water it will bite you and with water it really opens up. The finish is long as in very long and complex with molasses, wood and spices. A great rum!

Die 70% sind perfekt eingebunden, blind eher bei maximal 55% geschmacklich, die Bitterkeit ist dezent da, aber gar nicht störend (wie bspw. beim Flensburg REV)
