The "1992" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Alambic. It was distilled in 1992 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. 3 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.6/10. Angesichts der Verdünnung ein passabler Long Pond, dem zwar die geschmacklichen Highlights fehlen, der andererseits aber auch wenig offensichtliche Schwachstellen erkennen lässt. Grundsolide, ein entspannter Sipper - nicht mehr, aber eben auch nicht weniger.
This is also an older tasting where I noted that I would have loved a higher ABV because it would have benefitted the flavours in my mind. Fruity with esters and wood. The flavour in the empty glass is really nice after a while.
