"01.11.2019 Den Dansk Rom & Whiskyfestival This was my first visit to this two day event, where everything is included in the ticket. Also the first event where I have seen so many extremely drunk people. This event usually just has what's considered mainstream products, but luckily my friend had the right contacts so for a premium we had our own little collection to go through. Today I get free a free ticket if I want to attend 😊 Pretty good price tag compared to what you get. A nice fresh release with overripe fruits and light wood. Love the smoke in the nose. The palate is lightly dry with a slight medicinal touch. The finish is long and warm with a medium dry touch. I love the herbal notes in the profile. This concluded day two at the event."
"Beautiful, dry Worthy Park with lots of herbal aroma"
"A very herbal nose followed by bananas and mangoes. Unfortunately, I can't find any pears as I know them from the 2005 batch - but that doesn't detract from the whole thing, the nose is just as good! Banana and mango can also be found on the palate and the herbs don't hide here either. The palate is a lot drier than you would expect from the nose - my mouth even contracts a little. It also becomes drier and more herbal on the finish, so that the fruit fades completely and leads to a very dry, long finish with a noticeable barrel influence. A good rum with decent quality. A tad too dry for me, but lovers of this herbal dryness will love it. This rum was accompanied by Kintra 2006 10yo 61.8% and CH 2006 57.9%. 83 points"
