Whiskybroker Uitvlugt MPM
The "MPM" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Whiskybroker. It was distilled in 1999 from Molasses and then aged for 17 years. The rum has an ABV of 60,8%. This is a limited release and there are only 149 bottles. 3 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.7/10. The rum smells like Cashews, Peaches and Mandarin, and on the palate there is Malt, Praline and Yellow fruits.

The 60.8% can be clearly perceived in comparison to the TRC PM 1997. After a little standing time, the aroma spectrum is similar with a higher fruitiness. However, I like the nose very much. On the palate, the +4% can also be clearly tasted. It is not quite as mouth-filling and creamy as the TRC, but has more dry wood influence. The finish is of medium length and also characterized by aniseed. Also a very good rum, but not quite on a par with the TRC. 87 points
