Ein weiterer Foursquare, wie zu erwarten und wie gewohnt auf sehr guten Niveau. Nicht wahnsinnig der Ausreißer nach oben, aber denoch gute Auswahl, preislich absolut o.k., wenn man bedenkt was sonst so für die ECS aufgerufen wird . Danke an Alex_Kunath für den Megasplit 🤝

Typisches Foursquare-Profil, aber geschmacklich nicht so viel Column. Alkohol sehr gut eingebunden! WAs will man mehr?

8,5:On the nose, the first impression we get is typical Bajan with roasted wood notes like nuts, caramel, spices with cinnamon, vanilla, tropical fruits like coconut and bourbon ageing dried fruits like apricots, raisins.There is some glue, a molasses is vegetal. On aeration, the rum becomes peppery, smoky, the sugar burnt, as we notice some tobacco, orange peel. 8,6:On the palate, the is similar as on the nose, with typical Bajan markers.The rum is pleasantly syrupy, it quickly becomes dry, there is a delicious pastry.With resting, the molasses turns out more vegetal, earthy, musty and some tobacco. Some cardamom could be found later on.Well everything turns out round and balanced. 8,4:The finish is long, dry, tannic, spicy and roasted, as the fruits are still typical from bourbon ageing..

The odd thing about foursquare is how they manage to keep their profile even in the weirdest of bottlings from high to low. This is on the better side of all foursquare ever. Quite good but nothing surprising

Ein recht unverfälschter ehrlicher Foursquare. Die Nase gefällt mir am Besten, aber auch am Gaumen weiß er zu überzeugen. Diese leicht gerösteten Nussaromen finde ich eine solide Ergänzung zu den bekannten Foursquare-Markern. Klasse Abfüllung

Toller Foursquare, der alles mit bringt was er braucht … und er schmeckt. An der Nase mehr Vanille, Eiche, Karamell, Kokos und Gewürze mit Nüssen. Am Gaumen dann auch viel Schokolade und Trockenfrüchte dabei. Alkohol-Einbindung passt auch.

Tasting Distilia Artist (Yu Chuan). Un nez très pâtissier avec de l’alcool, du massepain et beaucoup de douceur, de la vanille et du bois jeune. L’entrée de bouche est plutôt puissante mais avec de la douceur (pâtisseries) et un alcool bien intégré. La finale est moyennement longue, sur la douceur avec de la noix de coco, des pâtisseries et de la vanille. Un beau représentant de Foursquare.

Ein kleiner, etwas pfeffriger Auftakt, Insgesamt ziemlich lecker. Kein großer Unterschied zu dem, was Foursquare normalerweise macht, gröstetes Karamell, vanille, kokos und ein wenig Schokolade. Thats It. Abgang ein wenig alkoholisch, aber schon lecker.

C’est plutôt bon , Une petite entrée en bouche un peu poivrée, Assez gourmand dans l’ensemble Pas grande différence avec ce que fait Foursquare d’habitude, Ce que je trouve un peu regrettable. Cette distillerie ne prend pas beaucoup de risques pour faire des jus un peu différent

Das ist kein schlechter Rum. Andererseits bin ich nicht der große Foursquare Fan und das ist für mich mal wieder Foursquare Langeweile. Kokosnuss, Karamell, Schokolade, Vanille. Der Alkohol ist dafür aber gut eingebunden

So eine Foursquare-Nase ist schon was geiles, runde und lecker. Er zeigt schöne kleine ölige Tröpfchen im Glas. Der Gaumen ist geprägt durch holzige, röstige Aromen. Sehr trockenes pfeffriges Mundgefühl, was sich im Abgang fortsetzen. Tolle Nase, am Gaumen ist er mir zu trocken und zu röstig.

Sehr schöner typischer Foursquare-Duft, aber weich, reif, kein Alkohol, wie es manchmal vorkommt. Dafür, wie langweilig FS für mich schon sein kann, ein toller Start. Der erste Geschmack klingt regelrecht pfeffrig. Der nächste ist erträglich, aber die pfeffrige Schärfe ist ziemlich ablenkend. Der Körper ist für mich missglückt. Der Abgang ist recht gut.
