The "Exception 2024" was produced in Grenada at the Westerhall Estate distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Famille Ricci. It was distilled in 1996 and then aged for 28 years. The rum has an ABV of 52,4%. 14 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.4/10. The rum smells like Woody, Caramel and Vanilla, and on the palate there is Woody, Alcoholic and Caramelized.

#4927 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Wood, light roasted, fruits, caramel, light coconut, spice, light nutts, vanilla, faint chocolate. Palate Balanced, oily, wood, faint roasted, light salty, light caramel, faint nutts, faint honey, light orange. Finish Medium to long, wood, light roasted, light caramel, spice, light orange, faint coconut, faint chocolate.
Ein Rum, der 2024 auf der Whisky Live in Paris verkostet wurde. Eine volle Nase, süß (Karamell) und mit sauren Früchten und Holz (Vanille). Im Mund ist er vollmundig mit einer deutlichen Süße, der Alkohol ist unterstützend. Der Abgang ist ziemlich lang, mit Früchten und einer sauren Seite, die diesen Rum belebt. Vermittelt einen süßen Eindruck, der mir nicht gefällt, aber ein sehr schöner Rum.
Notes issues du Whisky Live Paris 2024 - à revoir et approfondir. Pour le coup, pas du tout mon truc. Soit j'avais le palais saturé du TDL, soit le mélange caramel/chocolat m'a pesé.
