It was distilled from Molasses and then aged for 8 years 6mo. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 58%. This is the last of my complete collection of rums from Alfred's Trail and it's as good as the others. A nice complex rum with a fruity and tannin rich taste that finishes with a long complex, fruity and slightly dry end. Remember to let it rest for at least 15 minutes! Well done rum by Alfred's and now I'm waiting for the next release which is just around the bend 😊
