The "Strand 151" was produced in South Africa at the MHOBA distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler LMDW. It was distilled in 2021 from Sugar cane juice with a Single Wooden Pot Still. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 75,5%. 3 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.5/10. The rum smells like Ester, Intense and Fresh, and on the palate there is Intense, Smoky and Warm.

#4917 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Intense, light ester, fresh, round, light honey, spices, light vegetal, solvent, light chocolate, fruity, faint floral. Palate Intense, warm, light ester, light wood, faint smoke, fruity, banana, spice, sugarcane, oily, solvent, faint nutts. Finish Long and warm, oily, light wood, light roasted, fruits, light citrus, faint chocolate, light ester. Alsoa very nice release.
