The "Guyana VSG" was produced in Guyana at the Versailles distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Ura Spirits (Biarritz). It was distilled in 2014 from Molasses with a Single Wooden Pot Still and then aged for 8 years. The rum has an ABV of 48% and the mark is VSG. 11 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.9/10. The rum smells like Caramel, Chocolate and Woody, and on the palate there is Chocolate, Dried fruit and Woody.

Nicht sehr komplex, aber ganz lecker. Guter ungesüßter Einsteigerrum.
Although it is a relatively young rum from the continent, it has a lot to offer. A wild mix of mustiness, technicality, dried fruits and a little nuts. Flavour-wise, it's not such a winner. It's missing percentages and proper tropical ageing. It's still a good rum, but the potential was greater.
Very sweet demerara. Aromas of chocolate, caramel. Taste chocolate and marzipan. Something doesn't sit right with me, like a perfume.
