Excellence Rhum Port Mourant MPM
The "MPM" was produced in Guyana at the Port Mourant distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Excellence Rhum. It was distilled in 2008 from Molasses and then aged for 10 years. The rum has an ABV of 62,2%. This is a limited release and there are only 249 bottles. 7 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.0/10. The rum smells like Spice, Anise and Licorice, and on the palate there is Peppery, Anise and Licorice.

06.04.2019 Nice relaxing day at home with nice samples. Notes Light in colour. Nose: fresh, light wood, raisin, caramel, citrus. Palate: round, wood, citrus, marzipan, oily, spice. Finish: medium long, wood, dried fruit, licorice.
Le nez est vraiment typique de PM mais très sympa avec une belle touche de fruité genre poire qui ressort encore plus avec une goutte d'eau. En bouche je le trouve un peu trop marqué par son côté épicé et poivré. J'aurais aimé que la touche fruitée du nez soit plus présente. Au final un beau PM.
