The "Jamaica Single Cask Selection" was produced in Jamaica at the Worthy Park distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Rum Shark. It was distilled in 2014 from Molasses and then aged for 9 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 66,9%. This is a limited release and there are only 257 bottles. 22 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.6/10. The rum smells like Tropical fruit, Dried fruit and Molasses, and on the palate there is Tropical fruit, Molasses and Honey.

"Extrem stechende Nase nach verbranntem Gummi, aromatisch kommt dann worthy Park halbwegs durch, wird aber von verbranntem Gummi (an Fiji erinnernd) überlagert. Dazu ist der Alkohol recht beißend und dominant. Im Abgang kommt dann etwas dunkler Karamell, Banane und Muskatnuss durch was wieder zu worthy Park passt. Insgesamt aber für mich eher enttäuschend."

"I have to say it again. I love Jamaican rums. Plenty of jamaican funk, honey and lot of citrus in aroma. What I really do not understand why there has to be those technical scents (love it in rum from Trinidad). ABV is pretty high but aroma itself is very gentle. Taste gave me lot of Jamaican funk, spice and sweet flavor of honey. There is also a hint of creamy texture. I noticed som fruits and quite a lot burnt wood with technical flavor.Finish is very pleasant with warm feeling and sweet notes (this feeling persists for quite a long time). Overall it is better sample than RS Worthy Park 2007. I would like to have bottles and maybe try to compare them much more."
