Because of the age of this rum, i did let this rum catch some air before the review. On the nose: i get some red berries, vanilla on the nose. Quite sweet actually. Fruity. Woody. In overall, its quite elegant and round Taste: First note, this rum is thin and it lacks punch and body to it. After few bigger sips you get the depth and nice woody, nutty palate. Its quite smooth and good elegant mouthfeel. I get mostly nutty flavours mixed with vanilla and red berries. Round. Finish. Finish is medium and bitter dry. Leather. Barrel notes. This rum is for you, if you want smooth, easy sipper with quite mellow and nutty flavours. I kinda like it, but i dont think its value for the money given the high price.
