The "Pure Single Barbados Rum" was produced in Barbados at the Mount Gay distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Malt, Grain & Cane. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Pot and Column Still and then aged for 22 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 51,9%. #4208 A very old rum from Barbados and it's performing pretty well. Once rested it releases a wonderful bouquet of flavours. Fruity with spices and roasted wood notes. The palate is medium dry and the finish long and warm. Draws nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some smoke, tobacco and caramel to it.
