The "No4 Jamaica Rum LP 15" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Ekte Rum. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 15 years. The rum has an ABV of 61,4%. This is a pretty nice Jamaican and I'll get back to it I'm sure. The nose is really funky and fruity with esters and spice. Some vegetal and mint in the background. The palate is balanced with a lot of wood/oak in a nice way. Menthol, fruit and spice follows a nice herbal and olive experience. The finish is long with spices and fruit.
