"A strong and spicy rum that seems much heavier on the Barbados and Guyana, rather than the Jamaica and Martinique, despite being 70% Jamaican based on my understanding of the blend number (J700). Hot, spicy, with a long finish. Could be a little bit tamer to help bring out the characteristics of the individual rums, but still very fun. After proofing down to ~50%, many more characteristics are apparent and this rum drinks much better."
