The "Plantation Jamaica (Luxembourgish Cask Selection) VRW" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Maison Ferrand. It was distilled in 2009 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 12 years 7mo. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 53% and the mark is VRW. 7 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.4/10. Long Pond mit sehr starkem Fasseinfluss (Orangewein), der in diesem Fall jedoch passt. Von Nase bis Abgang sind Junges Holz und Ester präsent. Daneben noch Gewürze und ganz dezente Fruchtnoten. Kein Knaller, aber auch nicht schlecht. Super PLV
This is a long pond I find complicated to rate. It is a nice melange of intense cask finish. It is at times and in the End.very dominant. But it works, I can so clearly see this as a cigar companion. And It is not bad at all
