It was distilled in 1987 from Molasses and then aged for 30 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This was the first of twe two samples I got and its a nice surprise. A very intense and complex rum with a lot to offer despite the relatively low ABV. Fruity with a lot of wood, without it being too dominant, and there's a lot of caramel on the nose. The palate is oily and dry and the curtains are amazing and so is the empty glass.
Ich hatte das Vergnügen, diesen 30 Jahre alten kolumbianischen Rum zu probieren, und das Erlebnis war ein starker, komplexer Rum mit einem langen, angenehmen Nachgeschmack - also musste ich diese Flasche besitzen, und ich freue mich darauf, ihn wieder zu probieren 👌🏻
