The "HSE Small Cask" was produced in Martinique at the Distillerie du Simon distillery. It was distilled in 2016 from Sugar cane juice with a Creole Column and then aged for 6 years 4mo. The rum has an ABV of 46%. This is a limited release and there are only 4100 bottles. 9 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.3/10. The rum smells like Spice, Caramel and Cocoa, and on the palate there is Butterscotch, Spice and Baked apple.

Brussels Rhum Festival 15/03/2025 Earthy agricole notes, but i'm not a big fan of too much candy notes in a agricole rum. This was too much candy for me. Not bad not great.
15/03/25: tasted @ Brussels Rhum Festival. I liked this Agricole rhum. Lots of candy notes on the nose and the palate was also quite tasty. ABV of 46% is OK, but would have liked it a bit higher since the finish was rather short.
