The "Wild Series Rum Port Mourant No. 33 MPM" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Romdeluxe. It was distilled in 1991 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 30 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 58,3% and the mark is MPM. #4026 This bottle was hidden in the huge selection of the tasting and though it didn't ring on all the bells it's still pretty good. A lightly fruity rum with nice wood and roasted notes. Spices are well balanced with the medicinal notes. Needs to rest for a while but draws really nice curtains and int the empty glass i can get some leather and licorice.
Ich liebe die ganze wilde Serie von rom de luxe, und dieses Stück ist keine Ausnahme und ist wirklich wunderschön. Die intensive Nase aus Guyana, voll von Leder, Holz und Früchten, ist ein Vorbote eines epischen Geschmackserlebnisses. Beim Inhalieren werden weitere Aromen aus dem Aroma freigesetzt.
