Poured into a tasting glass with good legs but likely from added sugar. Smells better than it tastes, has a strong burn for a 5 year. Burn up front, then notes of vanilla, carmel some spice and then more burn. Will need to give this a go one more time and revisit this review. Much smoother with some ice, adds some bite to a coke. - I bought this in WA where we have insane liquor tax so the low price was an appeal, the bottle and label design will look nice in my tiki bar and trying a Panama Rum sounded interesting though on first tasting can’t distinguish from other rums, strongest distinguishing factor is from the wine barrels on the nose.
