"An English rum so not the typical profile. The nose is metallic and light with some Seville orange and marmalade. The mouth is again light with some molasses at the end, baking spices and praline with more of the sweeter wine notes from the barrel. The finish is middling, dryer than expected and some sweeter wine notes again. It’s an unusual wine, a little bit sickly with the wine cask notes and underpowered. Interesting but not worth revisiting."
