Diamond Kill Devil
The "Kill Devil" was produced in Guyana at the Diamond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 2001 from Molasses and then aged for 15 years. The rum has an ABV of 61%. This is a limited release and there are only 199 bottles. 8 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.1/10. The rum smells like Burnt, Prunes and Cappuccino, and on the palate there is Heavy, Dark and Cappuccino.

"Tootsie Rolls war eine Assoziation zu diesem Rum, die ich auf Reddit las. Mein erster Eindruck war davon total geprägte, obwohl ich die US-Süßigkeit aus Schokolade und Karamell gar nicht kenne 🤷♂️ Inzwischen ist das für mich der typische Skeldon Geruch, obwohl es nur bei diesem so hervorsticht. Nichtzuletzt wegen des höheren Alkoholgehalts eine tolle, sehr intensive Nase. Insgesamt ist der Rum extrem röstig, geradezu verbrannt. Verbranntes Karamell in der Nase, frisch gerösteten Kaffee im Mund und eine fast verkohlte Bitterkeit im Abgang. Das ist etwas zu viel, trotzdem noch ein schöner SWR"
"14.09.2019 Super Kill Devil tasting at a local shop, that unfortunately is no more. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Light wood, sweet, raisin, licorice, plum, berries, light nutts. Palate Round, oily, wood, faint smoke, dried fruit, earthy, licorice, medium spicy, faint rubber, faint chocolate. Finish Long and warm, oily, wood, licorice, raisin, faint smoke, faint chocolate. Extra note Need to rest for a good while."
