Excellence Rhum Bielle YQM
The "YQM" was produced in Marie Galante at the Bielle distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Excellence Rhum. It was distilled in 2012 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 6 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 59,2%. This is a limited release and there are only 307 bottles. 18 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.5/10. The rum smells like Peaches, Green fruits and Pear, and on the palate there is Citrus, Woody and Floral.

Yesterday we had a nice relaxing evening and despite the bad weatherboutside, we had great weather inside. Very nice Bielle from Excellence Rhum. The nose is fruity with nice spices from the start and then grass, chocolate and rubber. There is a very faint floral note in there as well. The palate is complex and very well balanced. The ABV is masterfully integrated and you barely feel it. Fruit and spices hit first the wood, honey and chocolate and very light rubber. The finish is medium long and woody with pineapple and grass as well as a hint of rubber.
Round, balanced and a beautiful, mouth-filling profile. Very good Bielle with pronounced fresh oak. A rum without a lot of frills, a successful selection.
