The "Jamaica Rum" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Thompson Bros.. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 22 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 51,1%. This is a limited release and there are only 169 bottles. 8 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.3/10. The rum smells like Ester, Overripe and Funky, and on the palate there is Woody, Ester and Oily.

Very nice herbal note. But on the palate it disappoints me a bit.
Good, typical 2000 LP. A few percent more he could have tolerated for my taste.
#4276 01.10.2023 Eine sehr schöne Veröffentlichung, bei der das ABV wirklich gut integriert ist. Fruchtig mit Estern und leichtem Leim. Der Gaumen ist warm und ölig und es gibt eine leichte Funkigkeit im Profil. Der Abgang ist mittellang bis lang und hat eine leichte Zitrusnote. Zieht schöne Vorhänge im Glas und das leere Glas hat einige getrocknete Früchte und Kräuternoten.
A powerful nose with hints of spice. On the palate, toasty aromas leave a lasting impression. Pleasant length in keeping with the titration. A pleasure to return to, and once aired it improves! A very good LP as we like them!
