The "Jamaica Single Cask HLCF" was produced in Jamaica at the Hampden distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 1992 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 25 years. The rum has an ABV of 52% and the mark is HLCF. This is a limited release and there are only 228 bottles. 13 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.5/10. The rum smells like Ester, Tropical fruit and Woody, and on the palate there is Citrus, Tropical fruit and Ester.

06.11.2021 Another visit to "Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival and once again with special access and many very drunk people both days. Notes. A bottle I brought for the tasting (bottle birth). Nice release and pretty good considering the low ABV. Fruity and fresh with nice esters The palate is well balanced and fruity. The finish is medium to long and light with a touch of citrus. There is a very faint smoke note in the profile. That was the last one of day one.
The subtle smoky note brings an interesting facet to this bottling. Great Hampden! Finish just unfortunately a bit thin.
Not an exceptional Hampden. I miss the yellow fruit here. This one is more astringent, less fruity.
