"Tinnerbäcken is a rum by the Swedish IB Östgöta Rom AB. It has got its name after a stream that runs through the city of Linköping which also gave the name to the city's central outdoor bath with a pool and a large artificial bathing lake. It’s a little special for me cause I grew up (from 8yo-) just some 100 meters from the stream and has spent lots of time at this outdoor bath. The rum is blended by the IB, after 8 years of tropical aging in former Bourbon barrels, using cane juice rum from Dom. Rep. and molasses rum from Venezuela. Overall a little bit too sweet for me with its 19gpl of sugar, but great to have for me."
