A rum that I sought out as a 10 year aged white rum is fairly unusual. On the nose it’s fine but a bit underwhelming, some caramel and fruit, with elements of earl grey and some light citrus. The mouth on the first sip is fine but nothing overwhelming in terms of power or depth, leaving me disappointed. Some wood, light spice, and not the most integrated of mouths. The finish is short and brings young wood, cloves and some orange peel. It’s more of a mixing rum and as a sipper leaves a lot to be desired, all in all just doesn’t bring 10 years of aging to the front and lacks any real Fiji DNA. Overall disappointed
