It was distilled from Sugar cane honey with a Column Still and then aged for <15 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. A quite constant rum from nose to finish. It's very friendly, fruity and sweet. Not so much wood going on. Citrus, yellow fruit, vanilla, caramel, honey and a cooling note of mint. It's actually pleasant, though I am used to drinking more complex spirits.
