A young rum from J. Bally's classic, permanent range. The nose is light, dry and agricultural, with woody oak notes, spices, dried fruit, roasted notes and floral and vegetal sugarcane aromas. On the palate, the rum is darker, with woody, spicy, peppery, nutty and leathery notes mingling with sugarcane. Dry, simple and balanced. The alcohol is well integrated. The finish is a little short. Agricultural notes of tobacco, earth and vegetal give a rather bitter profile on the finish. Dried fruit, roasted, woody and spicy notes are also present. A pleasant introduction to the world of rhum agricole.
