Having tried the 15 year but not having bought it before it sold out, I eventually ended up settling for this bottle. This rum wasn’t bad and some would probably rate it higher but for me it just fell flat. First of all, it wasn’t the 15yr that I had tried and enjoyed and secondly it was just so simple - caramel, spice, some mild fruit with some alcohol and dryness. Not bad, but far from great.
