Milano Rum Festival Diamond Demerara Single Cask Rum
The "Demerara Single Cask Rum" was produced in Guyana at the Diamond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Milano Rum Festival. It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses and then aged for 18 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 58,9%. This is a limited release and there are only 221 bottles. 20 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.7/10. The rum smells like Woody, Alcoholic and Dried fruit, and on the palate there is Dried fruit, Alcoholic and Warm.

#5302 09.05.2025 Tasted at our local tasting with Hannes from Whisky Watcher. Nose Medium intense, wood, light roasted, faint smoke, light plum, pencil shavings, faint caramel, faint mint. Palate Warm, dry, wood, light roasted, light prunes, dried fruit, light chocolate, faint floral, faint caramel. Finish Long and warm, wood, dried fruit, dry, light floral, faint chocolate, light caramel, light prunes. Needs to rest for a while or be hand warmed to really open up.
Eher auf der bitteren Seite, geht fast Richtung Monymusk.
