Great what comes out of the glass right after pouring for a smell, that's really fun. In the mouth it continues super: sherry, chocolate and coffee are clearly in the foreground. This is accompanied by very ripe, sweet berries and orange peel. Since the same evening as the tasted as Hechicera 21 I compare them inevitably: similarities are there, this is even softer and has a darker fruit note with exciting coffee and chocolate notes that I had not had before so also. Very tasty, not as complex as other bottlings in the price range, but more "suitable for the masses" and just super pleasant to drink. The highlight remains but the smell .
05.03.2022 The yearly event by whisky.dk and one I'll continue to go to. This time with some of my colleagues of which some where whisky drinkers. They got an introduction to Jamaica and they liked it. Notes. Another if the sweet and very old releases. The punch in the profile is there from the aging but at the same time I'd liked a higher ABV. Oily and sweet palate with nice fruit. The finish os medium long and also pretty sweet.
