Jack Tar Caroni LIMBO HTR
The "LIMBO HTR" was produced in Trinidad at the Caroni distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Jack Tar. It was distilled in 1999 from Molasses and then aged for 22 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 63,7% and the mark is HTR. This is a limited release and there are only 250 bottles. 12 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.4/10. The rum smells like Tar, Rubber and Barrel, and on the palate there is Tar, Rubber and Caramelized.

Good Caroni, classic profile. Dirty notes with wood, spice and heavy sweetness. Far from the Velier Olympus, but still compelling and further evidence that the 1999 vintage deserves attention.
