Worthy Park RA Jamaica Rum WP

 Absolutely extraordinary smell and taste worlds open up - in the nose planty-grassy aromas and green fruit and vegetable notes come to the fore, where I have immediate associations with green gooseberries, fruit bushes and grass, as well as subtle fresh herbs. Reminds me of pulling through the bushes on a spring day in the garden - I do not know so at all from rum. Next to it I have to think of unripe citrus fruits. On the palate, the impressions continue, though some typical Worthy Park notes come through here - dark pepper, some banana, caramel, smoke and wood. A very special profile that you have to like. Gets a little exotic bonus, but this certainly won't be my next Daily Sipper.

 3rd blind taste looking for the best Worthy “the secret distillery” Park. This time we have: H. Velier 2005, 57,8% OB Conquete 2007 WPM, 55% RA 2007, 59,1% C: D Gold N: This is Gin, not rum! Think of a light aged Hendrick´s. You could associate the smell as being too herbal or too spicy, but for me it´s too botanical, too NOT-rum. Unique and weird, to say the least. After 20min the Gin aromas has settled a bit and I get glimpses of that dense blend of coconut, vanilla and sweet burn sugar and coffee I relate to Foursquare rums. Weird again M: Soft although having the highest ABV. The Gin appears again with an earthy taste. It is not sweet which is a big let-down for me. This might have to do with the fact that I also get a kind of strong burnt coffee taste. F: White pepper, lots B: No

 Ein klassischer WP ist das sicherlich nicht, so eine Fruchtbombe habe ich an der Nase von WP noch nie wahrgenommen! Schon klasse, jedoch stört mich etwas diese künstliche Note, die sich bis zum Abgang hin durchzieht ! Insgesamt ein gut bis sehr guter WP der anderen Art! Es ist immer wieder interessant, wie sehr manche Abfüllungen von dem gewohnten Bild einer Destille abweichen!

 Super crazy flavor profile! As if unripe pineapple, melon salmon gum, sawdust from virgin oak and cold candies had fallen into a pot. At the same time sweetly artificial looking and yet dry woody. Come I'm not quite clear on it but on the other hand is not completely wrong, but currently turns my view of worthy Park first on the head!🤯🤔❓

 Schon im Mund schmeckt man seinen untypischen, aber nicht uninteressanten pfeffrigen Geschmack. Der Alkohol ist gut integriert, für einen Rum mit 59° war ich von seiner Weichheit überrascht, man könnte von einem Rum dieses Grades mehr Kraft erwarten.

 Crazy part! In the nose blatant Jägermeister associations. On the palate quite sweet and herbs again. Very atypical for a WP! Interesting, but not my taste.

 Worthy Park has not yet been able to convince me. Can this bottling? Somehow I am at a loss.a very exciting profile that is quite unusual for me, perhaps even new? In the nose very herbal after fresh herbs, paired with tropical fruits. However, I do not necessarily find the typical tropical fruits here, but unusual, difficult to identify, but especially sour fruits.On the palate, the herbaceous impression predominates, which is more familiar and probably also fits WP, even if I would have blindly maybe even guessed Guyana. Exciting, but overall also no highlight, here the sample is enough for me completely.

 Mir persönlich fehlt irgendwas…hat irgendwie ganz nette Ansätze…aber das gewisse etwas um in die 8er Region vorzudringen fehlt mir persönlich.

 Wow, what an interesting nose, totally atypical of Worthy Park: citrus, tea, lemongrass, herbs.... On the palate again more balanced and fruity. The short to medium length finish mirrors the flavors of the nose and palate and is reminiscent of caipirinha! Very unusual WP, and therefore definitely worth a try!

 Personally a bit too herbal for me, with a juniper-\gin note that is too dominant....

 Für mich kein typischer Worthy Park. Ganz viele Kräuter, Wacholder, Zitrusfrüchte und recht viel Süße. Blind hätte ich sicherlich nicht auf Worthy Park getippt. Ist sicherlich Interessant, mehr aber auch nicht

 At the beginning clearly WP with overripe bananas and coconut, then unfortunately comes a not quite suitable herbal note to it-a rather bad barrel?! Too bad!

 A great flavor combination that I would not have associated with the brand. The rum is now no caliber, where you do not stop for days with the tongue to click. But for about 75 euros you get a super-solid rum here, which will definitely find its fans.

 Wäre vermutlich nicht auf WP gekommen. Hat was vergorenes, das ich mag und was holziges, das ich auch mag. In Summe aber nicht sehr gut. Ich habe auch Assoziationen zu Süßstoff (auch wenn natürlich keiner drin ist).
