The "Wild Series Rum Uitvlugt No. 19 (Uhrskov Vine) MPM" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Romdeluxe. It was distilled in 1990 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 30 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 55,2% and the mark is MPM. This is a limited release and there are only 231 bottles. 21 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.6/10. The rum smells like Pastries, Citrus and Licorice, and on the palate there is Woody, Spice and Black pepper.

The price may be arguable but the quality isn't. A pretty good Uitvlugt release with light fruit and wonderful wood with some smoky notes. Complex and balanced in the overall profile and I love the warmth on the palate.
Port Mourants can be hit or miss for me as I’m no fan of the herbal notes that some of the have. The RDL lacks these notes which is a big plus for me. Complex notes of light fruit, wood, spices and a nice sweetness made the sampling of this rum a pleasure.
Compared to other 90s Port Mourants relatively round. Really very successful!
