The "La Maison du Rhum Salvador" was produced in El Salvador. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Dugas. It was distilled in 2011 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum has an ABV of 40%. Auch dies ist ein schöner und fruchtiger Rum. Die Nase ist sehr fruchtig mit verbrannter Eiche und Vanille. Am Gaumen ist er ausgewogen mit viel Frucht, gefolgt von Kaffee, Karamell und Vanille sowie einem schönen Hauch von Eiche. Der Abgang ist mittellang mit Früchten, Vanille und leichten Noten von Eiche und Toffee.
Very nice, easy to drink little sipper - very Cuba-like with the roasted coffee, light oakiness and touch of Orange note The majority of what you smell transfer to the palate (to me anyways) and the finish is medium-short…. Not quite one or the other but in between - bonus points for mouthfeel and texture on this one so the flavour gets to hang around longer than normal! Rather enjoyable this one!
