Considering the relative low ABV this rum still manages to pull all the right stops on your nose and palate. Fruity with light spices and well integrated wood. I wrote that the minty note was really nice and refreshing. The empty glass had some leather and heavier licorice notes.
Quite the nose on the samaroli, spice tdl style mint and some dry musty cellar. On the palate a completely different profile, herbals as fuck, honey that sometimes hits marzipan and the dry cellar must with some wood. Shame
