The "Fiji" was produced in Fiji at the South Pacific distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2010 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum has an ABV of 44%. The rum smells like Vanilla, Medicinal and Fruity, and on the palate there is Diluted, Sugarcane and Woody.

Ok much less unpleasantries, but still this does next to nothing...
Color: White WineOdor:Vanilla, fruity with ester aromas and sugar cane.Also medicinal.Taste:Mild in the mouth and on swallowing, watered down.Faintly spicy with aromas of sugar cane juice, wood and Almdudler herbal lemonade.Finish:Medium lengthSlightly spicy and woody.78 points.
Tasted during a tasting with several CDIs. As other reviews said, not a spectacular rum. A few years extra in the barrel would have been beneficial for this rum. Very musky and mild taste. Not worth the price, price quality wise you could even opt for the CDI Caraibes...
